3 Teens Charged In Orland Park Car Burglaries
Two 15-year-olds and a 14-year-old were arrested after reports of people pulling on door handles in the Fountain Hills subdivision.
ORLAND PARK, IL — Three teenagers were arrested shortly before midnight Thursday night after police responded to a report of people pulling door handles in the Fountain Hills subdivision near 181st and Wolf Road in Orland Park.
Orland Park Police Lt. Kenneth Rosinski said police found the suspects and a foot pursuit led to the arrest of a 14-year-old. Two 15-year-olds were found and arrested shortly after at the Mobil gas station at 183rd and Wolf, Rosinski said.
The suspects were all connected to a van found in the subdivision that was later found to have been reported stolen out of Blue Island. Five parked cars in the subdivision were burglarized, according to Rosinski.

Orland Park residents reported a heavy police presence along Wolf Road during the response and apprehension of the suspects.
All three juvenile suspects were petitioned to court for possession of stolen motor vehicle and burglary to motor vehicle charges, police said. None of the three live in Orland Park.
