ORLAND PARK, IL — Carl Sandburg High School Class of 1976, this one's for you!
A 50th reunion is set for the graduating class, with a party planned for Oct. 2 from 6 to 11 p.m., at Silver Lake Country Club. The class will also be honored during Sandburg's homecoming football game against Homewood-Flossmoor High School, set for Sept. 25.
Tickets are $76 per person, and dress is casual. Cost of ticket includes appetizers, buffet dinner, desserts, soft drinks and live music. A cash bar will be available. The facility is fully handicap accessible, organizers note.
Organizers are also compiling a booklet to reconnect and share updates on classmates. Share what you've been up to since graduation—family, travel, career, retirement, or anything else. Share an update of 100 words or less by emailing SandburgClassof76@gmail.com.
