ORLAND PARK, IL — The community of Orland Park is invited to honor, remember and reflect on Patriot Day with an evening of live music and commemoration at Centennial Park West, 15609 Park Station Blvd., on Friday, Sept. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m.
This free event offers residents an opportunity to join friends, family and neighbors in remembering those lost on Sept. 11, 2001, honoring the heroes who served and celebrating the enduring resilience and unity of the nation.
Event Schedule:
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating on the park grounds.
"Patriot Day is a time for us to pause, reflect and unite as a community," said Mayor Jim Dodge. "We hope you will join us at Centennial Park West to pay tribute to the courageous heroes and families impacted by the events of 9/11 through music and togetherness."
