The Orland Park Public Library is inviting the community to embrace sustainable fashion and discover hidden treasures at its annual Jewelry Jumble on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. in Meeting Room 104.

The Jewelry Jumble encourages community members to give gently used accessories a second life by donating jewelry, handbags, scarves, belts, hats, head wraps, and other fashion accessories. Donations will be accepted Sept. 1 through Nov. 6 at the Adult & Teen Services Desk on the library's second floor.

Whether you are looking to refresh your wardrobe, find a unique statement piece, or simply support a more sustainable way of shopping, everyone is welcome to attend. No donation is required to participate. Patrons who donate items will receive an early entry pass, allowing them to browse the selection before the event opens to the general public.

"By reusing and repurposing accessories, we can reduce waste, express our personal style, and connect with one another in a meaningful way," said Adult & Teen Services Librarian DeAnna DeHoff.

The Jewelry Jumble is part of the library's ongoing commitment to fostering community connections while encouraging environmentally conscious choices through creative programming.
