• Orland Park Trick-Or-Treat Hours Set For Halloween 2026 (patch.com) — Families in Orland Park can plan ahead for Halloween 2026, with village trick-or-treating set for Saturday, Oct. 31 from 2 to 8 p.m. Parents are urged to keep kids in groups, stick to sidewalks, use flashlights or glowsticks, and carefully check all candy to help ensure a safe, fun evening.
   

• Village of Orland Park Hosts Clear the Clutter Event at Mall (southwestmessengerpress.com) — Orland Park residents can clear out old documents, electronics, and prescription medications for free this Friday, Oct. 9, at Orland Square Mall from 9 a.m. to noon. Village and regional officials are teaming up to offer secure shredding, electronics recycling, and drug take-back, with one television accepted per household and medications required in original containers.
