Former Colorado State University and Chicago Bears wide receiver, Gregory Primus, MD, will share tips and methods to prevent injuries in recreational athletes as he hosts the free “Weekend Warriors” program at Advocate South Suburban Hospital on Wednesday March 27, 2013 at 6 p.m. at the Hazel Crest Park District.
Dr. Primus, an orthopedic surgeon who played with the Bears from 1994-95, will discuss proper warm-up, stretching, preparation and other techniques to keep the part-time, recreational “weekend warriors” healthy and able to enjoy the sports and activities they still pursue.
