Arby's Opening — And Hiring — Soon In Orland Park

ORLAND PARK, IL — At last check two months ago, there were 194 restaurants open in Orland Park. But not one Arby's among them.

That will soon change as veteran restaurant owner Faisal Merchant has plans to open an Arby's at 15765 S. Harlem Ave. in Orland Park sometime next month. The exact opening date will be announced on the Arby's Orland Park Facebook page. Anyone who likes the Facebook page will get a chance to win a $50 gift card.

Merchant has been in the restaurant business for 16 years. He's the owner of 23 Dunkin'Donuts franchises, five Baskin Robbins, four Wingstops and now two Arby's. His Arby's location in Lockport opened last year.

When the Orland Park location opens, it will have open hours from 10 a.m. to midnight seven days a week.

"We also are interested in donating to various Orland Park organizations so they can message us on our Facebook page as well," Merchant said, sharing information from a Forbes article published in 2017 detailing how the Arby's image and menu has "completely changed" over the years.

Merchant said the Arby's Orland Park location is already looking for crew members, assistant managers and managers.
