Athlete's Foot Thief Tried To Return Stolen Items: Cops
Police say a woman who stole items from the Athlete's Foot at Chicago Ridge Mall tried to return them to the location at Orland Square.
ORLAND PARK, IL — A woman who earlier this month stole items from the Athlete's Foot store at Chicago Ridge Mall returned to the store's location at Orland Square later that day and attempted to return the items for a refund, police in Orland Park said in a report.
Liana P. Bolden, 21, of Matteson faces theft/possession of stolen property and criminal trespass charges after a series of events police say occurred on Oct. 3.
The owner of both Athlete's Foot locations in Chicago Ridge and Orland Park told police the manager of the Chicago Ridge store earlier in the day told him she found out a few items, worth about $600 total, were missing and two women were shown on surveillance video stealing the items.

The image of the suspects was sent to the owner at the Orland Park store, who identified one of them as coming into the Orland store that very day. She was still there when police arrived.
Police identified that woman as Bolden, and said in the report that she was wearing the same yellow ball cap, purse and glasses when they interviewed her in Orland Park as she was seen in the surveillance image from Chicago Ridge.
