Artist Statement: Amid the noise of everyday life, I seek moments of stillness and calm—spaces where I can step away from the outside world and truly reconnect with myself. Through my work, I create pauses of silence and presence, inviting both myself and the viewer to breathe, slow down, and experience a sense of inner peace beyond the noise. My art reflects inner emotional states rather than external appearance. and focuses on quiet moments of connection and the human need for safety and presence. I often use animal figures as subtle symbols of true companionship; silent partners that offer grounding, trust, and protection. My paintings leave open space, inviting the viewer to shape their own story and find meaning through feeling rather than analysis. I am a portrait and human figure artist based in Chicago and am passionate about creating paintings that speak to the heart. I originally studied civil engineering, but I chose to follow my true passion for painting. My work delves into the depths of human emotion, capturing fleeting moments of longing, wonder, and quiet reflection. Through the play of light, shadow, and color, I aim to evoke feelings that words alone often cannot convey.
