CJB is celebrating its 22nd year and is committed to providing a top-rated academic experience as well as a safe learning environment centered on faith. CJB is a regional school sponsored by four parishes (St. Elizabeth Ann Seton - Orland Hills, St. Francis of Assisi - Orland Park, St. Stephen Deacon and Martyr - Tinley Park, and St. Julie Billiart - Tinley Park.) CJB welcomes students in 3-year-old PreK through 8th grade, focusing on developing each student’s spiritual, intellectual, emotional, creative, physical, and social needs.
The primary focus of Cardinal Joseph Bernardin Catholic School is to motivate students to become self-confident lifelong learners. CJB strives to prepare students to be responsible members of their community, able to interact with people of all diverse backgrounds as they go out into the world. Through the example of the CJB staff and the daily experiences of the curriculum, children will learn the truths of their faith, become active members of their parishes, experience a variety of liturgies and prayer services, and respond to the call of service to those in need. CJB is also dedicated to designing a program of success for each child, filled with opportunities that develop and enrich talents, provide strategies to strengthen weaknesses, and give children the skills necessary to succeed in the 21st century.
CJB believes a solid foundation is a key to academic success, a belief that is supported by the fact that 18 of our alumni have been named Valedictorian or Salutatorian at their local high schools, since 2007. We look forward to your registering for a private tour for the upcoming school year and we welcome your family to become part of this amazing community that is CJB. For additional information or to register your child, visit cjbschool.org or contact CJB’s Enrollment Director, Cindy Devlin at 708-403-6525 x. 127.
