Catch an Improv Show by Orland Park's Own Troupe

"No Limit Laughs" promises to deliver a comedy show you won't forget.

By day, they work as teachers, truck drivers, accountants, attorneys, parents, writers and more. At night, they work to make people laugh.

The “No Limit Laughs” Village of Orland Park Comedy Improv Team is a compilation of some of the funniest people in the Chicago Southland. A number of Orland Park’s team members have trained with Second City and have been performing improv for several years, beginning their comedy careers in college.

“This team is amazing,” said Improv Director Jimmy Mazeika. “They feed off each other, are quick on their feet and know how to deliver the punch line,” he said.

The team will present its first show of the season on Friday, September 26 at 8 p.m. at Orland Park’s Old Village Hall, 14413 South Beacon Avenue. Admission is $6 per person and is limited to those ages 18 and older. Upcoming performances will be held on Friday, October 24 and Friday, November 21.

“We limit our audiences to those ages 18 and above because we never know where our audience is going to take us,” Mazeika said. “We do a family show in the summer that kids are invited to and they have a blast at that one,” he added.

“Seeing an Orland Park Comedy Improv show is a nice, local night out,” Mazeika said. “We are a top area date night destination for those who want a fun, reasonably priced evening out close to home. And, we have great fun when groups come to the show together like neighbors, families, Bunco Clubs, music parents or others. Those can get really funny with the audience participating,” he said.

Team members include Kate Anderson, Kristie Ansinn, Sean Conroy, Cari Labok, Joanna Leafblad, Derek Miller, Joe Nowinski, Bryan Riess, Melanie Stanko, John Werner and Jason Williams.
