Celebration of Life for Devoted Member of Orland Park Community

Family and friends of a longtime resident of Orland Park and Tinley Park will hold a celebration of life Thursday evening.

Joanne Wingate (nee Yocco), 71, died October 7 from complications caused by MS. She grew up in Chicago with her siblings Arlene Stefani & Louis Yocco. Joanne was an active and vocal mother to her three children Michele, Daryn & Dana. She was also a loving Noni to Donovan & Briggs McNab.

She was active in Orland Township, Orland Township Republican Organization, Tinley Park Women’s Club, and as an Orland Park Lions Club volunteer, her daughter Dana said.

There will be a celebration of her life on her birthday Thursday, Nov. 12 at Silver Lake County Club from 4 to 8 p.m. with a brief service at 6 p.m. All are invited to come share a story, enjoy some food, have a drink—”just as she would have wanted.”
