Competitors Sought for Orland Park's Got Talent 2019
Family friendly acts from throughout the region invited to audition. Ten finalists will compete at the Taste of Orland Park 2019.

ORLAND PARK, IL (May 13, 2019) –“Orland Park’s Got Talent” debuted in 2012 when the village’s Recreation Department put out a call for talented area residents.
“The Taste of Orland Park is a community favorite and one of the highlights of the weekend is the Orland Park’s Got Talent Competition,” said Trustee Jim Dodge, chair of the village’s Recreation and Parks Committee. “It’s a great showcase of the many talented people from throughout the region.”
Open auditions will be held Tuesday, July 9 and Wednesday, July 17 from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. at the village’s Cultural Arts Center, 14760 Park Lane. Family friendly acts of any kind will be considered. There is no cost to enter the contest sponsored by the Village of Orland Park and its arts commission.

Top scoring acts will be notified of their advancement to the finals that will be held at the Taste of Orland Park on Sunday, August 4 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
“Orland Park’s Got Talent is a great run leading up to the Taste of Orland Park. We have so many talented people in this area and it’s exciting to showcase them,” said Jean Petrow, program supervisor for the Recreation Department. “We’re happy to have the village’s arts commission now be a part of the competition.”

Judges will select 10 finalists to compete in the final contest at the Taste.
The top winners of the final round at the Taste of Orland Park will win $300 for first place; $200 for second place and $100 for third place. The winner of the People’s Choice Award will receive $50.
