Convicted Burglar Caught Selling Morphine to Police Source: Prosecutor
Prosecutor said man sold 20 pills containing morphine to confidential source.

ORLAND PARK, IL -- A convicted burglar was targeted in a drug sting in which he sold morphine to a confidential source, prosecutors said in court Thursday.
Justin Miller, 21, of the 15700 block of Washtenaw Avenue, Markham, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
The prosecutor said that Miller arranged to sell drugs to a confidential source set up by Orland Park police. Miller met the confidential source at 4 Orland Square Drive on Aug. 17, where Miller allegedly sold 20 pills containing morphine to the source for $486.

Illinois Department of Corrections records show that Miller was paroled in July where he had been serving a five year sentence based on a 2015 conviction for residential burglary. He also has a 2014 conviction for the same offense.

The assistant public defender told the judge that Miller is engaged to be married. Cook County Judge Peter Felice set bail at $150,000 and ordered random drug testing should Miller bond out of jail.
Miller is due back in court Sept. 15 in Bridgeview.
