ORLAND PARK, IL — A student at an Orland Elementary School District 135 school traveled overseas to an area considered to be at high-risk for the coronavirus and was told not to return to school for two weeks, according to a Daily Southtown report. But no students in the district's 10 schools have been sent home due to showing any symptoms of the virus, a school official said.

The two-week time frame comes from the Illinois Department of Public Health, which has advised school districts in the state to have students remain away from school for that amount of time on guidance from the national Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
