A total of 40 students from Consolidated High School District 230’s three high schools were celebrated as they earned their diplomas at a mid-year graduation ceremony.
Superintendent Dr. Bob Nolting congratulated the graduates and said, “No matter where you go or what you do after Sandburg, Stagg or Andrew, know the spirit of community and service to others that you fostered over the past four years will undoubtedly carry on. We are counting on you to continue to give your time and your talents beyond District 230 - at your college or university, your place of work and ultimately, the community where you choose to live. I challenge you to extend the impactful work you began here; I am confident that you are up to this challenge. I thank you for what you have given to District 230 and to all of our communities.”
District 230 Board of Education Tony Serratore echoed congratulations and noted, “This celebration is not just about all that you have accomplished - it’s also about what lies ahead of you. This celebration is also a reflection of the personal commitment made by many in our school community to inspire innovation, empathy, and leadership.”
