The District 230 School Board honored student and staff for their selection and participation in the Illinois Theater Fest production of Big Fish.
Sandburg's High School's Matt Rohan served as Theater Fest All-State Stage Manager. He was applauded for his vast knowledge, technical skill and ability to manage both student and adult staff throughout the show.
Andrew High School's David Cermak served as Big Fish Assistant Tech Director for All-State, Emily Dolan played in the Big Fish Orchestra for All-State, and Lisa Gonwa served as Technical Director. Unfortunately they could not attend the meeting to be honored as they were involved with the Andrew's Got Talent show last night.

Andrew High School Associate Principal Abir Othman was also honored in conjunction with Theater Fest as she earned the Administrator Support Award for Theatre Fest. This honor is given to an administrator who goes above and beyond to support the arts and theater in their school.
