D230 schools among Best High Schools in Illinois: Niche.com

Sandburg, Stagg, and Andrew High Schools are named among the Best High Schools in Illinois by Niche.com, earning A+, A, and A grades respectively. The schools garnered excellent statewide rankings in several key areas including Best Public High Schools, Best College Preparatory High Schools, Best Teachers, and Best Schools for Athletes.

“Affirmation like this, that we are doing an excellent job for our students, should be celebrated,” said Superintendent Dr. Bob Nolting. “The fact that these ratings are based on both data and the personal testimonials of our students and families makes it even more rewarding. I am proud of every staff member in our district who contributes to providing a great school experience for our kids.”

According to the publication, “the 2022 Best Public High Schools ranking is based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, and high school ratings.”
