Darvin Furniture & Mattress Hosts Best Brands Bowling

Dust off those rosin bags and go for a turkey!

Darvin® Furniture & Mattress is combining two great activities – bowling and shopping – to create its first Best Brands Big Bowling Event all day Saturday, Aug. 7, through Monday, Aug. 9. Customers will have a chance to knock down pins, win prizes, raise money for the Crisis Center for South Suburbia, and take advantage of discounts across the showroom.

Chicagoland’s largest furniture and mattress store has plenty of room for a couple bowling lanes, albeit inflatable balls and pins, to challenge customers to take a shot at winning prizes from concert tickets and gas cards to local dining and entertainment gift cards and Darvin Gift Cards worth $100, $250, and $500. One lucky winner will receive a $1,000 Darvin Gift Card Grand Prize. In addition, WLIT 93.9 FM will be giving away tickets to Six Flags, Medieval Times, Raging Waves Water Park and Great Wolf Lodge Water Park.

“This event is a great opportunity to bring people together to have a little fun, celebrate with some great music, and enjoy some of our best deals of the year,” says Darvin President Will Harris. “In addition to the great prizes we will be offering, for every person who rolls a strike on our showroom lanes we will donate $25 to the Crisis Center for South Suburbia.”

In addition, from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, Radio Host Robin Rock (WLIT 93.9) gets the celebration rockin’ with a live broadcast at the Darvin store, 15400 La Grange Rd., in Orland Park. During her broadcast, she will be giving away tickets to the upcoming Genesis and Air Supply concerts, as well as music and apparel giveaways every 15 minutes.

“Every person 21-years or older who comes into our showroom over the course of the three-day event will have a chance to bowl for Darvin Deals. They can have some fun, take home some great prizes, have a chance to qualify for a $1,000 Grand Prize Darvin gift card, and help raise money for a wonderful local charity that has been doing amazing work throughout our community,” Harris said. “And while they are here bowling on our showroom lanes, they may want to take advantage of our Best Brands Savings Event.”

Customers can look for Darvin representatives wearing bowling shirts who will direct them to the bowling lanes and set them up for an opportunity to win.
