Joe Dzik is promoted to head up expanded warehouse operations

Joseph Dzik has been promoted to Director of DC Warehouse Operations at Darvin Furniture & Mattress. Darvin recently expanded its Mokena, Distribution Center and elevated Dzik from his Inventory Manager position to head up the warehouse operations.
Dzik has been working in the Darvin warehouse facility for two decades. In his new position, he will be reporting to Vice President of Distribution Center Operations Thomas Stachniak and overseeing more than 60 employees at the Darvin Distribution Center. His responsibilities will include overseeing the overall quality of merchandise being delivered from the warehouse, in addition to all daily operations.
"We couldn't be more enthusiastic about Joe stepping up into the director position at the warehouse," says Darvin Furniture & Mattress President Will Harris. "It's been Joe's incredible work ethic, his commitment to our customers, and his ability to keep our inventory moving out onto delivery trucks every day, that has made such an important part of our ongoing success at Darvin."

Dzik says he travels back to Italy often to visit relatives and to see one of his two daughters, who lives in Mesagne, Italy, with her fiancé.
Dzik began his career with Darvin in 2000 as a part-time customer service representative. He moved into a position at the Distribution Center and has taken on more responsibility each year leading up to his appointment as Director of Warehouse Operations.
"Since Will Harris took over at Darvin, I’ve seen an increase in sales which has directly impacted the volume of deliveries we do from the warehouse and driving the company’s revenue to an all-time high," says Dzik. "I'm very pleased with the culture of Darvin Furniture and I love working with so many talented people, some of whom I have had the pleasure of working with for over 20 years."
