Dental Screenings and Cleanings at Orland Township on January 30

Orland Township and Perfect Smiles, 13033 S. LaGrange Road, are hosting “Dental Day” on Saturday, January 30 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the township office, 14807 S. Ravinia Avenue. Free screenings for children 18 and under will be offered and cleaning and fluoride treatments will be available for a nominal fee. An appointment is needed.

It is important for children to develop healthy dental habits at an early age, including regular visits to a dentist. Regular trips to the dentist can prevent issues from developing, as well as help identify problems early, making treatment simpler and more affordable.

As a reminder, children should be brushing twice a day for two minutes and flossing daily.
