District 135 Students Get Back to the Books
School is officially back in session, as of Monday, August 25.
Bright yellow school buses marked the start of school on August 25 as they picked up the children of Orland School District 135. Close to five thousand students in grades one through eight began with a full day of classes. Kindergarten students began the following day.
This year marked the first year of the District’s 1:1 technology initiative in which students will be using mobile devices throughout the day as an integral part of the curriculum.
