District 230 seats Board members, elects officers

Showing confidence in their leadership, four incumbents were re-elected by the community to the District 230 School Board. School Board President Rick Nogal administered the oath of office to Melissa Gracias, Susan Dalton, Tony Serratore and Kate Murphy-Peterson last night.

At the meeting, the School Board elected officers, as well. The Board chose to keep the momentum of the current leadership by re-affirming:

• Rick Nogal as President
• Melissa Gracias as Vice President
• Susan Dalton as Secretary.

They also chose to maintain the consistency in leadership on committees including:

• Building and Finance Committee: Chair Tony Serratore, Vice Chair Susan Dalton, Representatives Patrick O'Sullivan and Kate Murphy-Peterson, and Ex Officio Rick Nogal.
• Education Committee: Chair Patrick O'Sullivan, Vice Chair Kate Murphy-Peterson, Representatives Melissa Gracias and Denis Ryan, and Ex Officio Rick Nogal.
• Student Services Committee: Chair Melissa Gracias, Vice Chair Kate Murphy-Peterson, Representatives Tony Serratore and Susan Dalton, and Ex Officio Rick Nogal.
