District 230 Technology Innovation Facilitators share how teachers use technology to engage students

Student innovation, student-centered learning environments and innovative tools

Sandburg High School Technology Innovation Facilitators Chris Frye and Desi Vuillaume shared with the School Board a myriad of examples of the ways teachers are incorporating technology into their lessons.


They featured student innovation, student-centered learning environments, and innovative tools that teachers are using to engage students in learning and help them become self-directed learners. They also showcased the professional development they facilitate with teachers to help them imbed these tools in their lessons. You can see their presentation here.

Technology Innovation Facilitator positions were added at Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew this year.
