Emergency crews from Tinley Park and Orland Park were clearing away an accident Thursday night in the left turn lane if westbound 159th Street and Harlem Avenue.
Tinley Park firefighters had to pull a male driver from his car on a stretcher around 7:15 p.m. He was then transported to an area hospital in an ambulance by Trace Paramedics.
It's unclear how many cars were involved. Crews had the scene cleared and traffic running normally by about 7:20 p.m.
