Battalion Chief Nick Cinquepalmi said the truck had tipped over while the driver was navigating through construction site debris located on the southwest corner of the intersection.
The construction site is a holding station for trucks, equipment and construction debris, materials and refuse before it is carted away for disposal. The unnamed driver was taken to Silver Cross Hospital for continued treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Cinquelpalmi said.
