Elusive Orland Park Wild Man Captured: Cops
The Wild Man ran off into the woods but a cop armed with a Taser caught him, police said.

The Orland Park Wild Man was captured after a cop armed with a Taser chased him into a “wooded area,” police said.
The officer merely “spark tested” his Taser but that was enough to bring 23-year-old Brandon Urzedowski to heel, police said. Urzedowski lay down on the ground and was handcuffed, but reportedly “continued to pull away from (the officer) and continued to scream and yell profanities” as he was walked to a squad car. Urzedowski then repeatedly banged his head against a squad car window, police said.
Urzedowski was apprehended after an officer was sent over to Park Lane to look into a report of someone kicking a 1999 Toyota Camry. On his way there, the officer “received a separate call from Brandon Urzedowski’s grandfather that his intoxicated grandson had just exited the residence and was screaming in the street,” police said.

When he arrived, the officer shouted to Urzedowski to halt, police said, but the young man dashed off into the wooded area where he was ultimately taken into custody.
The woman whose car Urzedowski allegedly kicked said “she did not wish to pursue complaints against Bandon because she only wanted him to get help,” even though the vehicle had a small dent, police said.

After Urzedowski was taken to the police station, he reportedly admitted to officers that he was the man seen “shaking light posts, screaming, and urinating in bushes” on Holiday Court a few weeks prior. Urzedowski explained that he was “upset and walking home from a friend’s house after an argument” when he went on his rampage, police said.
One of the light posts was broken and it cost $70 to repair, police said. Urzedowski was charged with resisting a peace officer and criminal damage to property.
