Orland Park Substance Awareness Forum and District 230 hosted informative event with practical tips for parents

The Orland Park Substance Awareness Forum and High School District 230 hosted the Empower Teens to Make Good Choices: Practical Tips for Parents event.

"The reason we are here tonight is that we all agree that the physical and emotional safety and well0being of our children are primary goals of our community," said District 230 School Board President Rick Nogal. "And, it truly takes a community effort to educate and support students through their sometimes challenging teen years."

An expert panel shared practical tips for parents and then answered questions from the audience.
