2nd Annual Orland Park Green Fair

The Village of Orland Park SmartLiving Team is promoting local businesses that provide environmentally friendly products and services at its Green Fair 2011 on Saturday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Orland Park Civic Center, 14750 S. Ravinia Ave.

Tentative green vendors include landscape companies, rain barrel vendors, those that sell environmentally friendly home products and services, cleaning products, organic cotton clothiers, dry cleaning, cleaning companies, building and home supplies, insulated building materials and more.

“Orland Park has taken a leadership role with its green initiative,” said Mayor Dan McLaughlin. “Many of our businesses and residents have embraced the village’s ‘SmartLiving Orland Park’ program and are actively doing what they can to reduce their carbon footprints.”
