The Park Forest Art Fair is the second oldest juried art fair in the Chicagoland region. The 56th Annual Art Fair will be held on Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18 from 10 - 5 in Downtown Park Forest, which is adjacent to Village Hall. Artists will be coming from as far away as California and New Hampshire. Artworks displayed will represent a variety of media from painting, print-making, pastels and photography to ceramics, jewelry, wood, glass and fiber arts. The Village of Park Forest will host a music fest all day Saturday with musical groups performing jazz, pop and blues. On Sunday, fest favorite Patchouli will perform all day. There are many activities for children including an art contest and tie dying. While visiting the fest, stop in the Gallery to see an exhibit by Tall Grass Artists. For additional information, check the Tall Grass Facebook Page, website (www.tallgrassarts.org) or call the Gallery at (708) 748-3377.
