Orland Park Theatre Troupe Presents Holiday Show

"A Candle In The Window" Warms The Heart

ORLAND PARK, IL – The Village of Orland Park Theatre Troupe will perform "A Candle In The Window" on Friday, December 10 and Saturday, December 11 at 7:00 p.m. with a Sunday matinee on December 12 at 2:00 p.m. Performances will be at the Orland Park Civic Center, 14750 South Ravinia Avenue.

Perfect for all ages, the show includes a small group of weary travelers who discover the power of the season while trapped in a lonely train station on Christmas Eve. As a blizzard rages outside, the troubled people are forced to turn to each other for companionship. The story continues with a mysterious visit, renewed spirit and resolve.

Ashley Miletich is directing the show with Bob Szczepanski serving as assistant director. Frann Carnivele-Sidlow is producing the show with Irene Buikema serving as executive producer.

Advanced tickets may be purchased at the Franklin Loebe Recreation Center, 14650 South Ravinia Avenue. The cost is $13 for adults, $11 for seniors/students and $9 for children. A limited number of tickets may be available at the door.

Orland Park residents appearing in the show include Rasa Avizienis, Roxanne Balaskas, Olivia Capuano, Dan Chruscinski, Jimmy Flynn, Nicholas Furio, Ashley Lewis, Annie Ostrowski, Bryan Riess, Chrystal Suich and Matt Walsh. The cast also includes Rudy Chavez (Midlothian), Jim Mazeika (Oak Lawn), Christina Morales (Alsip), Madelyn Schafer (Frankfort) and Alice Trull (Hickory Hills).
