District 135 University and College Fair

The Curriculum Department of Orland School District 135 is inviting residents to attend a university and college fair on Thursday, January 20 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the District’ Administration Center, located at 15100 S. 94th Avenue in Orland Park. The event is free and open to any adults interested in earning an advanced degree in education. No registration is required.

Representatives from such area schools as Saint Xavier University, DePaul University, and Benedictine College will be on hand to answer questions and provide information for those considering returning to school to earn an advanced degree, or earn another educational degree.

When asked why the fair is being held, Curriculum Director Dr. Laura Berry notes, “We know that many of Orland community are involved in education and may be interested in graduate-level classes. This is a good will event we are making available for residents and for neighboring school districts.” The Curriculum Department hosted a similar fair two years ago, and Berry hopes the tradition will continue every other year in the future.
