Orland Township, 14807 S. Ravinia Avenue, is hosting a free Medicare seminar on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Activity Center.
The seminar will cover most aspects of Medicare, including enrollment periods, Medicare Part A and B benefits, deductibles and benefit periods, Medicare Part D prescription drug assistance, assignment and non-assignment, home health care and hospice care, skilled nursing facilities, managed care, supplemental insurance policies, low-income programs and SHIP (Senior Health Insurance Program). Refreshments will be served.
