The much-anticipated grand opening event for Garden Gallery & Studio will be Friday, May 25th from 5pm to 9pm at 17459 South Oak Park Avenue.
Garden Gallery & Studio is a unique environment designed to provide individuals with diverse life experiences the opportunity to find common ground through the expression and appreciation of art. The gallery features the works of little known outsider artists alongside the works of established community artists. The studio offers a safe, creative space for individuals at all skill levels and artistic experience to work together side-by-side. Income from artwork sold at the gallery benefits both the artists and Garden Center Services, a not for profit agency that supports persons with developmental disabilities.
The Grand Opening event will feature refreshments, live music, a chance to meet local artists with works on display in the gallery, as well as an opportunity for patrons to contribute to a group mural for our studio space.
