As part of The Bridge Teen Center’s commitment to helping parents navigate through the teenage years, a free event for parents is being offered in partnership with Meijer. The event, entitled “Meijer Parent Night: Eating Dinner as a Family” is intended to share time-saving tips on meal planning and preparation, discuss the importance of families eating together and will also include culinary demonstrations with plenty of time for questions and answers.
This event is being presented as part of The Bridge Teen Center’s Mind/Body week, when the Center’s free fitness, culinary arts, and stress reduction programs for teens are emphasized and promoted. The Meijer Parent Night event will be facilitated by Meijer’s Chef and Dietician Maribel Alchin, along with Priscilla Steinmetz, Founder and Executive Director of The Bridge Teen Center.
As with all programs at The Bridge Teen Center, there is no charge for parents to participate – however, advance sign-up is required. Parents can sign up at www.thebridgeteencenter.org, or by calling 708.532.0500.
