The Village of Orland Park Arts Commission, in cooperation with MPI Media Group, will host a free Dark Shadows Film Festival on Saturday, October 23. Episodes featuring Barnabas Collins will be shown from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at the village's Cultural Center, 14760 Park Lane.
The gothic soap opera aired on ABC television from 1966 until 1971.
"People who grew up in the 60s and 70s will enjoy this event, as will those who have discovered 'Dark Shadows' since it went off the air," said Village Trustee Kathy Fenton, chair of the village's Special Events and Community Outreach Committee.
