Personal Computer Basics begins on Thursday, March 3, from 9-11 a.m. and will give an overview on various computer topics over the six-week period, such as digital camera basics, e-mail, internet, social networking, Microsoft Office basics and file management.
Social Networking and Digital Camera Basics begins on Friday, March 4, from 1-3 p.m. and will expand on topics included in Personal Computer Basics, such as how to download pictures to a computer from a digital camera, how to use social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter and more.
“We are fortunate to have this space for our technology based programs and I’m pleased that the reception of the computer classes has been strong,” said Supervisor Paul O’Grady. “This is a program that we will be expanding upon in the future and tailoring to the different needs of our residents.”
