Orland Township is hosting its monthly immunization clinic on Tuesday, Jan. 4, at the township building, 14807 S. Ravinia Avenue and again on Saturday, Feb. 5. The January clinic is from 6-8 p.m. and the February clinic is from 9-11 a.m.
In order to receive an immunization, children 18 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with proof of residency and a valid shot record on hand. Immunizations are free of charge to Orland Township residents 18 and younger. Adult vaccines are also available for a fee.
Vaccinations that are offered include: DTap, DTap-IPV/Hib, DTap/IPV, DTap/Hep B/IPV, haemophilus b conjugate, Hep A, Hep B, Hep A/B, Hib, HPV, IPV, meningococcal, MMR, pneumococcal, TB, Tdap, TD, varicella, rotavirus, typhoid. The adult vaccine Zostovax is also available at most clinics but an appointment is necessary for this vaccine. Please call the Township office at (708) 403-4222 to request a Zostovax immunization.
