Orland Township is hosting Total Lipid Profile testing on Friday, October 14 and Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 14807 S. Ravinia Avenue from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Residents may have total cholesterol levels read, as well as triglycerides, LDL (bad cholesterol) and HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol). Fasting, prior to the test, is required for 9 to 12 hours.
The price of the test is $25.00, with proof of residency. Non-residents may also participate for $30.00. Free blood pressure and glucose testing, for an additional $5.00, are also available on this day. An appointment is necessary and participants must bring proof of residency on the day of testing.
