The Sandburg music Booster 5K Run/Walk will be held at 8:00 AM. It will begin and end at the 153rd Metra station with a course through the Centennial Park wetlands and park grounds. Cost is $25 which includes an event t-shirt. All proceeds benefit the students of the Carl Sandburg Marching Band to help cover costs for uniforms, instrument repair and travel expenses. Register at SIGNMEUP.com, or on the morning of the event at the Metra station between 6:30 and 7:30 AM.
