“Sixty Miles to Silver Lake”

Collaboraction presents Dan LeFranc’s
“Sixty Miles to Silver Lake” for six weeks
only, April 19 – May 27, 2012, Thurs—Sun. evenings at the Flat Iron Arts Building. As the playwright of the critically acclaimed hit “The Big Meal,” LeFranc won the 2010 New York Times Outstanding Playwright Award for “Sixty Miles to
Silver Lake.” A lifetime can pass in the sixty miles between a boy’s soccer game and his father’s new house. For divorced father Ky and his son Denny, California freeways and sticky pleather car seats form the backdrop for a boy’s
coming of age. “Sixty Miles to Silver Lake” explores the complex relationships with family, and how those relationships affect who we become.
