Artsfor Kids!

Wednesdays, September 12 – November 14

You and your family are invited to a fun program for children in grades 1-6! The program is called “W.O.W. (Welcome on Wednesdays) Arts for Kids”. We meet at
4:30-6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays at The Presbyterian Church in Orland  Park (13401 S. Wolf Rd.). All of the children in the surrounding communities are invited, and we hope you will consider joining us.

We begin each week with games as the children arrive. Then, we all enjoy a delicious pizza supper together. At 5:15 p.m., we divide into our two age groups (Grades 1-3 and Grades 4-6) for our arts projects. At 6:00 p.m., the
children can choose either “Music and Rhythms” or “Beginner Hand Bells” (grades 4 and up). It is two hours filled with fun, creativity, and making new friends!

We kick-off our nine-week fall session on September 12. On October 10, we have a special afternoon planned with a visit to The Children’s Farm at The Center on Southwest Highway. There is no class on Wednesday, October 31 (Halloween). We will honor all of our veterans and invite all families to our Grand Finale Arts Show on November 14, which is when the children will display and take home their projects. The cost for all of this is only $50.00 per child; $25.00 for the second child from the same family. Please note that enrollment is limited to available space.
