Fire Destroys Pool Deck

ORLAND PARK, IL -- Fire destroyed a pool deck Friday evening in Orland Park. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The Orland Fire Protection District responded to a call of a house fire around 10:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Windmill Road in Orland Park. When firefighters arrived, they encountered fully involved fire in a large pool deck and attached pool house behind the home.

Fire companies made an offensive attacked and were able to hold back the blaze from spreading to the house.
