Fire In Laundry Room Of Orland Park Salon Closes Business Temporarily, No Injuries Reported: Orland Fire
The fire happened at Tricoci Salon & Spa in the 15400 block of 94th Avenue on Friday evening.

ORLAND PARK, IL — A fire traced to the laundry room of an Orland Park salon Friday damaged the business and forced its temporary closure, Orland fire officials said Saturday.
Orland Fire Protection District firefighters responded to reports of smoke at Tricoci Salon & Spa, in the 15400 block of 94th Avenue, at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
OFPD Battalion 6 arrived, followed by Orland Fire Truck 1, to find a large, one-story commercial building with nothing showing after inspection of all four sides of the building.

The property was evacuated, and an inspection by firefighters inside the business revealed heavy smoke along the floor, quickly identifying the source as the salon’s laundry room, Orland fire officials said.
Engine 5 was repositioned at the back of the building and firefighters entered through a rear entrance. Multiple crews were involved, and the fire was extinguished.

There were no reports of injuries to fire personnel or to occupants.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and yet to be determined, and the business is temporarily closed.
Orland Fire was assisted at the scene by the Tinley Fire and Palos Fire departments. Mutual aid fire departments also provided station coverage while Orland Fire crews were committed to the scene.
