Firefighters Treated For Heat Exhaustion Battling Extra-Alarm Fire in Orland Park
Extra-alarm fire in vacant home in Orland Park under investigation, fire officials said.

ORLAND PARK, IL -- Two firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion as they battled an extra-alarm blaze in Orland Park. The fire broke out around 1:30 p.m. Monday in a large vacant home near 108th Avenue and Oakland.
Both firefighters were treated at a nearby hospital and released a few hours later. The cause of the fire is under investigation, said Ray Hanania, spokesman for the Orland Fire Protection District.
