Fugitive Wanted for Home Repair Fraud: COPS
Orland Park police said New Lenox man accepted customer's check for over $6,000 but never returned to do the job.

ORLAND PARK, IL -- Orland Park police were in court Friday seeking an arrest warrant for a 41-year-old New Lenox man wanted for home repair fraud.
Robert Jabaay is accused of ripping off a homeowner to the tune of $6,261. According to police, Jabaay accepted money for a floor job on Feb. 23. The homeowner told police that Jabaay never returned to finish the job or provided materials. The detective said he’s tried to contact Jabaay and even spoke to his attorney, but police yet to have a conversation.
The prosecutor told the judge that Jabaay had a misdemeanor arrest in 2015 for writing a bad check in Will County. The judge issued an arrest warrant.
A complaint about Jabaay and his company, Jabaay Installations, was submitted to RipOffReport in 2012.
