Gatto's Coming to Orland Park

The owners of Gatto's Restaurant and Bar weren't really looking for an additional location, but the owner of Riviera Country Club thought it'd be a good fit.

Brothers Frank and Chuck Gatto agree.

They plan to open their fourth location by mid-April in Orland Park's Riviera Country Club, 8801 W. 143rd St. 

"The Orland location would have a rooftop deck overlooking the pool," Frank Gatto told the Tribune. "It's definitely something we haven't done before. In addition to being a full-service restaurant, we would feature a casual menu for people at the pool."

A main dining room would seat 140, with a party room for 80 and a rooftop deck for at least 60.

Kitchen staff were expected to begin training this week and applications are being taken for servers at any of the existing locations. Hours have yet to be determined.

Gatto's is the third restaurant to give the space a go. It is preceded by R.C. Mulligan's and Pompei Pizza, the latter of which closed in January.

Gatto's three other locations are in Tinley Park, New Lenox, and Downers Grove.
