Get Down at the Marist Christmas Social

Social features performances by the Marist jazz band and chorus, food drink and the Parents' Club's RedHawk raffle, Dec. 5.

Marist parents and alumni enjoy the festivities at a previous year’s Christmas event. The event on December 5 at DoubleTree will include food, drinks, and entertainment to kick off the holiday season.

Marist High School will hold its ninth annual Christmas social on Saturday, Dec. 5., from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at DoubleTree Hilton, 5000 W. 127th St, in Alsip.

Admission is $50 per person, and includes food, beer and wine, and entertainment. This is a wonderful way to celebrate the Christmas season with the Marist family. Parents, alumni, and community members are welcome.

Guests will also have the chance to participate in the Parents Club RedHawk Raffle. Tickets are also $50 each. First prize is $8,000. Second prize is $5,000. Third prize is $2,500. Prizes are based on 500 tickets sold. The prizes can be taken as a tuition credit at Marist High School or cash. The winning ticket will be pulled at the Marist Christmas Social on Dec. 5. Winner need not be present.

There will be raffle baskets and live auction items available at the event, including original chalk artwork created live at the social by artist Shaun Hays from Artbeat Live.

Marist’s Parents Club has been planning this event for several months, and has a memorable night in store for all who attend. Entertainment will include appearances by the Marist jazz band and chorus.
