Watch Alfred Hitchcock's thriller, Rear Window, at the Center. L.B. Jeffries is recuperating from a broken leg during a hot New York summer when he thinks that he sees a murder in another apartment. This classic film stars James Stewart, Grace Kelly and Raymond Burr. No fee or registration is needed.

A juried exhibition of artwork submitted by local artists will be displayed from May 31 to August 3. An artist’s reception and awards will be presented on June 4 from 2pm-4pm for first, second and third place, as well as three honorable mentions.

Help fight the battle against cancer during Tinely Park's annual Relay for Life event. Most teams have already formed and fundraised in advance, but you can still participate in survivor activities or honor a loved one with a luminaria. Silver Lake and Chick-fil-A kick off a new summer event intended to keep families "playing together" and "staying together". On June 4, from 11am - 2pm, families who check in at the pro-shop can golf free, get a free Chick-fil-A lunch and meet the Chick-fil-A Cow. In addition, as part of a new summer program, families can play the Rolling Hills 9-hole course for a special rate. No tee times will be taken on launch day; just check in at the pro shop. This "Green-Fair" celebrates nature and eco-friendly living. Browse through eco-friendly products, garage sale, flea market and craft vendors. Take a horse or hay ride. Kids can play with crafts and games and tour the animal barns. Listen to live music and try yummy food, such as fresh lemonade, watermelon and grilled favorites. This Friday is the opening day of the Orland Park Farmers Market. Get fresh veggies, bakery items, bread and gourmet mixes for your dinner. Decorate your garden with flowers, plants and garden accessories. An additional array of items is available, including jewelry, household and beauty items, doggy biscuits and more. BBQ lunches are also available until mid-August. The market takes place every Friday until October 7 (closed on August 5 for the taste of Orland).

Let's Have A Pajama Party!

Slip into your jammies for a "Noah's Ark Pajama Party"! Kids ages 6 - 10 can stuff their own teddy bears and pick a pair of pajamas to dress it in. Bring your own pillow or blanket. Pajamas are not required. Admission is $33 for residents and $50 for non-residents. Contact the park district at 708-342-4200 for more information.
June 4, 10am–2pm | The whole family can dig in to this messy event. Squish into paint for finger painting, blow and pop bubbles, splatter on the slime table, splash water and more. Listen to storyteller Mrs. Brenda at 11:30am. Enter a raffle to win a family 4-pack to the Adler Planetarium, toys, gift cards to local restaurants and more. Concessions will be available.
