3RD ANNUAL OAK FOREST PUB AND RESTAURANT OPEN HOUSE www.oak-forest.orgWhere/When: 11 Oak Forest restaurants and pubs (see web site for complete list) will host open houses from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. Saturday, March 12.
Why Go: Who needs a designated driver? Free shuttle buses will be stopping at all 11 locations all night long. A dial-a-ride bus also will stop at the Metra train station at 159th Street and Cicero Avenue and the Best Western Oak Forest Hotel.
Pricing: All 11 locations are having specials on food and drinks.
Where/When: Lincoln-Way North High School in Frankfort at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12.
Why Go: Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, a trio of Irish lasses performing Irish classics. Last in a series of performances sponsored by the school district.
